Ready to grow through story and creativity?

Connect with purpose. Create with story.

I’m Dr. Amanda Jo Slone. I’m a writer, educator, and researcher. I help organizations and individuals grow through the power of storytelling combined with Appalachian identity and creative practice. My work bridges two worlds:

  • Professional Growth — inspiring businesses, schools, and communities through interactive workshops and keynotes that spark resilience, connection, and innovation.

  • Creative Development — mentoring and editing for writers and creatives who want to strengthen their voice, refine their craft, and bring their ideas to life.

Whether I’m speaking to a room of professionals or guiding a writer through their manuscript, my goal is the same: to help people see themselves more clearly and tell their stories more powerfully.
